Scholarship Information - George Whitmyre Jr. Memorial Scholarship

The band offers a $500 scholarship to an area student. The deadline to apply for the 2026 scholarship is January 2nd, 2026. See the application form below for details on requirements and application procedure.

Practice Spaces

The band practices at one of several locations depending on availability.

Since Spring/Summer 2022, we will be practicing at the Newark Senior Center, 200 White Chapel Drive, Newark DE 19713, in the Evergreen room (cafe-torium), which is to the right after entering the main enterance.
We occasionally practice at Newark Municipal Building on 220 South Main Street
